Schumacher's Family Restaurant

I was treated to a meal in this newly opened place on Monday night. I had the beef rouladen and the French onion soup. Positively the best I've ever eaten and will leave you wanting more. The rouladen was made from a recipe that's been handed down through the family and it was incredible. The waitress Alex, who served me was a sweetheart. The owners are in the kitchen preparing and overseeing exactly what leaves there. They take a great deal of pride in the meals served and it shows. Schumacher's is definitely worth the trip ans will be a staple in PA for sure.

Today was the worst. We usually come here once in awhile. The dinners are good. But there is always something not working. Today it was the propane being out. Never have the salad bar, although it is on the menu. It's sad because this is close to home. This will probably be the last time here. Hope things work out for this diner.

Got steak and eggs. Amazing!!!! The place is in the middle of nowhere so there's little to no crowds to worry about. And the prices we're not that bad. You definitely get your bang for your buck there.
